Anne Fraser is a Licensed Practical Nurse with over 25 years of healthcare experience and the Founder of North Shore Foot Care. She is certified in Advanced Foot Care through Vancouver Community College and provides professional, compassionate mobile foot care focused on comfort, safety, and individualized attention. In 2023, Anne completed formal training in reflexology and earned her RAC certificate, supporting a holistic approach to foot health and overall wellness.

Moira is the Communications and Administrative Coordinator at North Shore Foot Care. With a strong background in coordinating workflows and engaging with diverse communities, she helps ensure clients receive friendly, timely care from first contact through to follow-up.
Since joining the team, Moira has supported scheduling, improved communication between staff and clients, and helped North Shore Foot Care grow while maintaining its warm, personal approach. She’s passionate about making care easy to access and providing a smooth, supportive experience for every client and their family.

Adrian supports North Shore Foot Care with digital media, website management, and administrative tasks. With a background in design and digital communication, he helps ensure the company’s online presence is accessible and up-to-date, while also assisting behind the scenes with scheduling, records, and tech support.
Adrian is passionate about creating systems that work efficiently and look good helping NSFC grow with modern tools while staying focused on personal, compassionate care.

With over 18 years of nursing experience, May Abbassi, RPN, has cared for patients in acute medicine, neuroscience, geriatrics, and addiction care at Vancouver General Hospital. Her experiences led her to recognize how significantly foot health impacts comfort, mobility, and confidence—especially for seniors and individuals with chronic conditions—which inspired her to specialize in foot care. May’s approach is gentle, thorough, and preventative, emphasizing education and a calm, respectful environment where every client feels supported. As part of the North Shore Foot Care team, she is dedicated to helping people feel better, move with ease, and enjoy greater comfort and independence in their daily lives.

Imelda Capiral is a Licensed Practical Nurse with over 20 years of healthcare experience, including 17 years on a medical ward and 3 years in the operating room. She became a Certified Nursing Foot Care Provider in 2018 after completing her training at Vancouver Community College. Imelda is passionate about delivering gentle, reliable foot care with a personal touch, helping clients maintain comfort, mobility, and overall well-being. She is known for her friendly, respectful approach and enjoys serving her community through in-home visits, finding great fulfillment in seeing her clients feel better and smile after each visit.

Harminder Ghuman, RN brings over eight years of nursing experience to her role as a Foot Care Nurse with North Shore Foot Care. After completing her specialized training at VCC in 2021, she joined the team in 2023 to help address the critical need for accessible foot care. Harminder is deeply committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care in the comfort of clients’ homes or community settings. Guided by her values of humanity and gentle, client-centered support, she works to enhance comfort, function, and quality of life. Her approach is shaped by lifelong memories of caring for her grandmother—an inspiration that continues to drive her dedication to serving the community.

Maria Shiela A. Palabrica is a licensed practical nurse with 18 years of nursing experience, currently working on the 4th Floor Medicine Acute and Sub-Acute Unit at Lions Gate Hospital. She completed Advanced Foot Care Training at Vancouver Community College in November 2023 as part of her commitment to expanding her nursing expertise. Maria’s approach to care is respectful, gentle, and client-centered, guided by values of approachability, competence, knowledge, and active listening. She is known for her empathy, strong advocacy, and personal touch, and strives to ensure every client feels valued, satisfied, and well cared for.

Fannie Ibarra-Calinisan is a licensed practical nurse with 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, including 15 years in Acute and Sub-Acute Medicine at Lions Gate Hospital, following her early work in residential care at Evergreen House. She has a strong focus on patient-centred, gentle care, particularly for elderly patients and those living with dementia. Fannie completed her Advanced Foot Care Training at Vancouver Community College in early 2025, inspired by a belief that foot care is often overlooked yet essential to overall health, as well as by the values of humility and service reflected in her faith. Her approach to foot care is simple, practical, and prevention-focused, emphasizing hygiene, self-care, and easy-to-follow routines that fit naturally into daily life, helping clients feel relief, comfort, and confidence in caring for their feet.

Asmayt Teklemariam, LPN has been a dedicated nurse since 2018, bringing over eight years of experience in geriatric and extended care nursing. She began her career at Rockyview General Hospital in Calgary on the Geriatric Unit, later serving in Assisted Living in Medicine Hat, Alberta, and currently practices at Lions Gate Hospital Extended Care. Asmayt specializes in caring for seniors, supporting chronic health management, mobility, and dignity in long-term care settings. In 2025, she completed her Foot Care Nursing certification at Vancouver Community College, turning a lifelong passion for helping those with limited mobility into a meaningful specialty. Known for her compassionate, detail-oriented, and client-centered approach, Asmayt is committed to providing gentle, respectful care that promotes comfort, confidence, and independence for every client she serves.
